Over nearly four years, GE Fabbri printed many thousands of cards. With the pressure they undoubtedly faced regarding deadlines, BBC audits and changes, and inevitable printing errors, there are plenty of Battles in Time cards with mistakes. Most of these are due to printing errors, such as the one shown on this page, where the cards were offcut, resulting in some cases where other cards were visible. Some cards that have been seen include a rare card, Dalek Sec, which was printed the wrong way round, making the foil print on the rear. As I do not own this card, it isn't easy to ascertain if this is legitimate. I have gone through all my scans to find the design errors that slipped through the net of GE Fabbri's QC. These are listed below.
It should be noted these are just what I have noticed. Some of them may be intentional design choices by what would have undoubtedly been more than one designer. An example of this is the Bonus Box Cards shown to the right. Since the test set, all the way through the life of Battles in Time, all bonus cards have a grey artefact on the left side of the red background. This is visible in publications, magazines, and all bonus cards from ordinary to the Super Rose. It is unknown why this was never fixed, but it is present in the design's first images, such as Lee Thompsons' own showcase, who was the designer of the Devastator Set. It is also suggested this may also be a design choice rather than an error attempting to signify old metal or dirt to give a more grungy feel though this has never been confirmed.

Unlike other cards, which shifted text to the right on the title to avoid covering the icon, the 'P' covers almost half of the Cyberman Icon.

This card depicts one of the Cult of Skaro and has labelled it's name as 'RABE' there is no Dalek RABE in Dr Who as their names were Dalek 'Sec', 'Jast', 'Thay', and 'Caan'.
According to Dalektricity, the original script for the Army of Ghosts/Doomsday story was originally named Dalek Jast " and “Dalek Rabe.” The name Dalek “Rabe” was changed to “Dalek Jast” during the final re-recordings. Some publications that had already been in preparation, such as the Battles in Time, used “Dalek Rabe” as the name for this member of the Cult of Skaro, but the episode as aired and released on DVD used “Dalek Jast”.
Although no explanation was explicitly stated as to the reason for the change from “Rabe” to “Jast” it is pretty likely that this may have been due to “Rabe” sounding too much like “Rape”, especially by the time the word had been spoken through a ring-modulator.

Bonus Box is using the large style, so it was likely forgotten for such a small bonus to be adjusted in size.
