Reimagining the Future: The Fan-Made Custom Set 

As a lifelong fan of Battles in Time, I have always held onto the wish that the card game would one day make a triumphant return to newsagent shelves (NOW IT HAS RETURED!). To channel that passion, I decided to put my Photoshop skills to the test and construct a completely original, reimagined expansion set built entirely on the foundational design language of the classic 2006 cards.

While there are many custom cards across the Doctor Who fandom, I felt that few truly captured the exact visual weight, font tracking, and layout structure that made the original game feel so distinct.

Sourcing high-resolution imagery spanning from Series 5 right through to the modern era, I carefully adapted modern incarnations of the Doctor, contemporary companions, and newly introduced monsters into the classic card borders. This project is my ultimate "What If?"—imagining exactly what the card game would look like if it were still in active circulation today.

The cards and promotional graphics showcased in this specific section are completely CUSTOM ARTWORK PIECES. They are 100% FAN-MADE, fictitious mock-ups and were never part of the official 2006–2009 GE Fabbri print run.

A massive amount of personal time, layout adjustment, and creative effort went into making these templates look as authentic as possible. While I cannot physically prevent you from downloading or sharing these concept pieces, I deeply appreciate it if you ask for explicit permission before reposting my custom artwork on other platforms, forums, or social media pages.
