Battles in Time collectors also received plenty of accessories to include in their collections ranging from posters to tick off their cards, collectors cases, and electronic items that add life to their readers or be used in another game mode.
Those who subscribed to the Battles in Time series got 5 free gifts, as well as 4 packs of cards. Cheekily they counted each pack of cards as a free gift bringing the total advertised to 9. The 5 items were:
A5 80 Card Album
Magazine Holder
LED Dice/ Game Randomiser
Tardis Combination Lock
Sound FX Tardis Lid upgrade.
Given in Issue 2 within the Test Set and the Main release, the Tardis Case was ubiquitous. However, the Test Set version of this case is seldom seen in recent years. The Test Set version of the latter does have some subtle differences. The quality overall is much higher. As seen here with the darker plastic, the lack of mould points on the right side and the different card slots internally.

As with the main case itself, there were subtle differences between the Test Set and the Main Release versions; as shown in the images, the main set Tardis lid is hollowed out, giving a lighter and cheaper feel. This is what is believed to be a money-saving method, as the main release produced far more of these than the Test Set, and the cost of the screwed-in inserts imagined it would add up to a substantial amount of plastic and, therefore, costs.
The Test Set lid followed the Test Set Tardis case, having a more rigid, premium feel. This can be attributed partly to the similar design to the later released 'Sound FX' version, with an insert screwed in, with space for a padlock.
