Dalek Invasion
On 24 September 2026, Master Replicas and the BBC announced the Dalek Invasion Set, a new Battles in Time collection centred exclusively on the Daleks of Doctor Who.
The set was introduced as a collection documenting 80 different Dalek designs from throughout the programme's history. Research for the collection was undertaken with the assistance of Dalek expert Gavin Rymill. Master Replicas described the resulting collection as one of the most complete Dalek collections produced.
The Dalek Invasion Set follows the card-production format established by the 2026 Battles in Time revival. The collection includes standard cards alongside Rare foil and Super Rare holo-foil cards. It is being released in both Limited Edition and Unlimited Edition formats, continuing the distinction established with the Obliterator collection.
The Limited and Unlimited Editions use different packaging and card branding, allowing the two production runs to be distinguished while retaining the same underlying collection.
The Dalek Invasion Set forms part of the continuing 2026 Battles in Time card numbering sequence and follows the Circuit Breaker Set in the release schedule.
Dalek Invasion Promotional Material
As part of the promotion for Doctor Who: Battles in Time – Dalek Invasion, content creators Christel Dee, host of The Whoniverse Show, and Krystina Arielle published videos featuring the new collection.
Christel Dee published a social media video showing two prototype Dalek Invasion booster packs. The packs contained randomly selected cards and featured packaging that differed from the final production designs. The video provides an example of the packaging and cards being used during the promotional and development stages of the collection. A picture of these can be found below.

Krystina Arielle also published a promotional video featuring the Dalek Invasion cards. The video provides views of several cards from the collection and includes a Dalek Invasion display box in the background. The box shown appears to be an earlier packaging mock-up, with a design closely related to the prototype booster packs shown in Christel Dee's video.

These videos provide show early previews of the packaging for the Dalek Invasion collection, subsequently revised before the final release.
Card Distribution
Following feedback concerning the distribution of the Obliterator collection, the Dalek Invasion Set introduced increased odds of obtaining the higher-rarity cards.The main collection consists of 140 standard-sized cards, divided into three rarity levels:
80 Common cards
45 Rare cards, with one Rare guaranteed in every pack
15 Super Rare cards, with an approximate distribution of one in every ten packs
The collection also includes four metal Vortex cards, separate from the main card numbering. These comprise two gold and two silver variants.
Limited Edition boxes also contain oversized Topper cards. Six different Topper cards were produced for the Limited Edition release. A Topper card was included with each Limited Edition box purchased as a case through the Master Replicas online store, in addition to the cards contained within the individual packs. As with the preceding 2026 collections, standard Dalek Invasion booster packs contain six cards.
A further addition to the distribution system was the introduction of the Dimension Box. These specially distributed boxes contain a complete set of the main Dalek Invasion collection and were randomly inserted into the production run. This provided collectors with the possibility of obtaining a complete collection through a single randomly selected box, rather than assembling the set through individual booster packs.
The Dimension Box represents a separate method of distributing the collection and does not alter the rarity structure of the individual cards found in standard booster packs.
Limited Edition:
The Dalek Invasion set was released initially with a Limited Edition version of the print run.
Availability: Exclusive to Master Replicas (launched 24th of September 2026).
Print Run: Strictly limited display boxes worldwide, stated to be 1000 and 100 cases which contain 6 topper cards.
Set Logo Foil: Gold Foil Dalek Invasion branding stamped below every card.
Box Security: Factory sealed with a tamper-proof authenticity sticker.
Purchase Method: Only available to buy as a full 36-pack display box or case of 6 display boxes.
Dalek Invasion Collector's Binder
Alongside the Dalek Invasion collection, Master Replicas released a dedicated collector's binder designed for the Limited Edition cards.
The binder was priced at £24.99 and was produced as a limited worldwide run of 1,000 units.
Unlike the A4 top-loading albums associated with the original Battles in Time collections, the Dalek Invasion binder uses a modern side-loading pocket configuration. The pages are designed to accommodate the cards in the collection, with the side-loading arrangement providing additional security when the binder is moved or inverted.
The binder also introduced dedicated pockets for the oversized Jumbo cards released as part of the 2026 Battles in Time range, allowing Jumbo cards from both the Obliterator and Dalek Invasion collections to be stored within the binder.
Each Dalek Invasion Collector's Binder includes an exclusive oversized collector's card. This card is separate from the main Dalek Invasion checklist and is not distributed through standard booster packs or booster boxes. It therefore represents a separate promotional release associated specifically with the collector's binder.
The binder was produced as a Limited Edition product and is distinct from the card distribution contained within the Dalek Invasion booster packs.
Limited Edition Release
The Dalek Invasion collection became available for pre-order through the Master Replicas storefront on 24th of September at approximately 16:00 BST.
The launch provided collectors with the opportunity to pre-order the Limited Edition collector's binder and sealed Dalek Invasion booster boxes. Additionally, the option to buy a case of 6 Dalek Invasion boxes was also provided.
The Limited Edition sealed booster boxes were offered at a retail price of £107.64, and the cases were offered for £645.84.
Members of the Battles in Time Collectors Club were eligible for a dedicated discount at checkout and received priority processing during fulfilment.
The cards, collector's binders and sealed booster boxes were scheduled to begin shipping to customers worldwide in December 2026.
Unlimited Edition:
The Dalek Invasion set was released initially with a Limited Edition version of the print run.
Availability: Exclusive to Master Replicas (launched 15th of October 2026).
Print Run: Larger print run to accommodate retail selling, however less-so than obliterator.
Set Logo Foil: Silver Foil Dalek Invasion branding stamped below every card.
Box Security: Standard plastic wrap
Purchase Method: Available to buy as a full 36-pack display box or case of 6 display boxes, as well as individual packs in stores when available.
