Second Doctor Set

On Thursday 27 August 2026, Master Replicas and BBC Studios announced the Second Doctor Limited Edition Set, the second release in the Doctor Focus series.

Like the First Doctor set, the Second Doctor collection consists of 15 cards supplied together in a special collector's pack. Each pack is guaranteed to contain the complete 15-card checklist, rather than using a randomised booster format.

The set focuses on the era of Patrick Troughton's Second Doctor and includes characters, locations and monsters associated with this period of the programme. The announced checklist includes:

• Jamie McCrimmon

• Zoe Heriot

• The TARDIS

• Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart

• The Yeti

• The Ice Warriors

• The Cybermen

• The Dalek Emperor

• The War Lord

The remaining cards in the 15-card checklist cover additional characters and monsters from the Second Doctor's era.

A metal Vortex Card is also included as a chase variant within the Second Doctor collection. One in every ten collector's sets contains this card, giving it a stated production quantity of 100 worldwide.

The Vortex Card is not available separately and can only be obtained through the Second Doctor Limited Edition collector's sets. The stated production quantity of 100 makes this a substantially smaller release than the 1,000 complete collector's sets.

The Second Doctor cards continue the visual approach established by the First Doctor Limited Edition Set. The cards use original black-and-white imagery printed onto a silver foil design.

Production of the Second Doctor Limited Edition Set is restricted to 1,000 complete sets worldwide. Master Replicas stated that the collection would be available exclusively through its own distribution and would not receive general retail distribution.
